Dear Bigtable users,

We are excited to announce that Cloud Bigtable client libraries for Node.js and C# are now in beta!

You can find documentation and for each client library in our new client libraries page. For more information on how to get started (as well as code samples), see:

These libraries are now ready for production use. We would very much appreciate you trying them out and providing feedback as we move towards general availability.

This launch is part of a larger initiative to provide stronger language support for Cloud Bigtable. In the coming months, we also plan to launch Python (beta), C++ (beta), Ruby (alpha) and PHP (alpha) client libraries. Finally, we plan to launch a new Java client (beta) without the HBase adapter.

Please let us know if you have any questions or feedback. We also welcome contributions on all of our client libraries, and would love to chat if you’ve had success extending our clients in any way.

Best,

Sandy

on behalf of the Bigtable team
